Can you smell spring in the air? We sure can. We’re celebrating the welcome return of milder weather by re-releasing Vodka, Adventures, and Spring, Oh My!, featuring three great cocktails and jam-packed with goodies! Subscribe now through March 31st to get yours—it’ll ship the week of April 3rd.
In this box, vodka’s a blank canvas that you can paint anything you want on, and we’re so excited to bring you these three works of cocktail art:
In Under Sage Drinking—created by Russell Davis—we mix the richness of cherry preserves with an elderflower syrup and the vanilla notes of Meyer lemon juice for a complex balance of tart, sweet, warm, citrus, and of course the earthiness of sage!
Check out our latest interview with Russell, where you can get the details behind his cocktail (plus his recommendations for food and music to pair with it!).
Our Shrub-a-Dub-Dub cocktail—created by Kate Gerwin—is refreshing and tangy, made with basil syrup, sparkling water, and the star of the show: a house-made strawberry-rhubarb shrub (a vinegar-based syrup) that you’ll have to taste to believe!
Kate, the first American and first woman to in 2014 become the Bols Bartending World Champion, has encyclopedic knowledge of food preparation and history, as well as extensive experience in proper bartending.
The sweet warmth of honey and orange blossoms laced with the bite of black peppercorns adds such flavor and punch to Ralston’s Black Peppered Old Fashioned that you may forget which spirit you’re sipping. (We know you’re curious to try a vodka old fashioned!)
This cocktail’s creator, Danny Ronen, has a great nose and uses it to sniff out what’s new and exciting in the world of international wine/spirits/food/travel. His writing and recipes/creations have been featured in Vanity Fair, SF Chronicle, The New York Times, and Imbibe Magazine.
We hope you’ll enjoy Vodka, Adventures, and Spring, Oh My! Warm-weather flavors are back and we couldn’t be happier.
